Hotel of the Week - Miss Clara by Nobis, Stockholm

WHO wouldn’t want to stay at a hotel called Miss Clara? Named for the first headmistress of Stockholm’s former Ateneum school for girls, Clara Stromberg, Design Hotels’ latest Scandinavian recruit is a transformed art nouveau building centrally situated on the cosmopolitan Sveavagen Boulevard.

Much of the art nouveau building´s original elements have been preserved; the interiors are no-nonsense chic, featuring an almost monochrome palette of dark wood, herringbone parquet floors and white walls.

The hotel´s location on a main thoroughfare puts Hamngatan shopping street and the vibrant old town within walking distance.
